Seognyugul caves stairway bridge The caves near Uljin are stunning with incredible stalactite and stalagmite formations.	After Dusk over Canola Taken just after dusk a lengthy exposure revealed a different scene, showing the reflection of the cars lights on the petals.	Seongnyugul caves fresh water pond There are several ponds in the cave. They were great for the shoot, as they reflected light and the cave walls.
After sunset Waiting patiently for the sun to set I captured this HDR image of 5 photos blended together to catch the last of the light that day.	Cherry blossoms and canolas Taken on the road along the canolas that day. It was such a beautiful day and the blossoms were all perfect. Pink and yellow This was what I assume to be a peach or plum tree blossoming, it was more pink than the cherry blossoms, the yellow offered a good contrast for the pink.	Pagoda and Canola A rest stop pagoda next to the canola fields. AS you can see in the background the Canola's were really radiant.	couplelovesunset Sophia and I love the sunset and as you can see we are again staring at the horizon. A truly beautiful day.
Cherry Blossoms, back to the future. Taken on a rainy night the wet road helped reflect all the surrounding lights, a lengthy exposure helped capture this radiant shot. Seogngnygul caves The caves near Uljin are stunning with incredible stalactite and stalagmite formations.	Cherry Blossom road The streets in spring are adorned with Cherry blossoms.	Korean Spring For two weeks in spring the roads are converted into magical highways lined with magical trees singing its spring time.
Stretching for the river An old Cherry Blossom tree stretches its branches towards the river instead of the road. Beyond the bridge you can see more cherry blossoms line the road.	The greener side The Cherry blossoms are satisfied with this side of the road. Springs colors representing in the photo. This little pond and park was very cute and beautiful during the spring and summer.	Chungju from Geymyeongsan A view down onto the small city of Chungju, a resident population of approx. 220 000 ppl. Our first home town in Korea.
Tangeumdae lanterns Lanterns hung in preparation for Buddha's birthday.	The Woraksan View Climbing Woraksan and nearing the top one can easily be halted by all the scenic view points there are to enjoy. The views are vast and colorful, freeing the mind and soul.	Prayer piled rocks At the base of Woraksan there is a temple, here we found these rocks stacked on top of each other. Apparently they are rocks stacked by visitors and the visitor prays as they stack the rocks. This tradition is related to the Buddhist religion and can be seen along many hiking trails, around many temples and mountains in Korea.
A cliff in Fall The Autumn colors in Korea are splendid.	Buddha Rock The religious rock is found along the Woraksan hiking trail. looking carefully one can see the buddha carved into the large rock.	Praying to Buddha Praying to Buddha, getting his good blessings. Many a hiker make their way up to this magnificent rock to practice their religion.
Fall Forrest Sunset Catching the sun setting through the fall colored trees in Woraksan national park, South Korea.	Mountain stream A crystal clear mountain stream making its way out of the Woraksan national park towards Chungju lake.	Maple in Fall This maple tree along the trail in Woraksan was absolutely mesmirisingy stunning.
Tall Ship A WINK tour to Dino Islands, we camped the night on the Island and the next morning I found it to be amazingly calm and peaceful around the Island. Many of our fellow crew were nursing hangovers of course.	Ulluengdo Squid Fisherman hunt the elusive squid in the seas around Ulluengdo. Hung to dry as you can see here in this picture.	Never too Old At mid-day an old Korean man sits on his haunches picking weeds out of the crevices in Jeonju, South Korea.
Backpacking On our way to the beach, looking for a camping spot for the weekend on an Island called Deokjeokdo.	Beach Camping Camping on Deokjeokdo Island in Korea. We spent the long weekend of Buddhas birthday here, away from the crowds.	Sandangsanseong fortress The main entrance into the fortress wall of Sandangsangseong. I felt as if we were entering a scene from a tomb raider movie.
Tangeumdae Temple Taken in the spring, the gardens of this temple were fantastically colored.	Sandangsanseong Fortess Wall The wall of this fortress stretches around a very small, old village. At some places measuring very high off the ground. One can hike along this wall which stretches approximately 6km, and after, visit the small village in its center to eat the best tofu Jigae ever as well as enjoy really good Makeolli.	A Korean Squirrel They can be seen in many national parks and wooded areas in Korea. These squirrels are stupidly adorable.
Ulluengdo 'godZilla" While visiting Ulluengdo we came across this rock outcrop which I thought resembled the back of a dinosaur or 'godZilla' as its breaching the water.	Dokdo Rocks We took a business trip to Dokdo to learn about its heritage and the issue of ownership between Japan and Korea. That aside, being able to visit the Island was a rare opportunity we were grateful for, the rocky outcrop was ruggedly beautiful.	Ulluengdo fishing boats The squid fishing boats parked/docked in the harbor.
Tender Korean A Korean ajoshi massages his wifes hands on the ferry heading to the main land.	Ulluengdo Ocean views Surrounding the beautiful Island of Ulluengdo is these well set up walking trails that allow you to enjoy the ocean views and fresh sea breeze.	Mysterious Korean One of the first photos I took in Korea. This photo was taken in Jeonju Village.
Dokdo Police The police of Dokdo monitor and protect the Island from Japanese invaders. Maintaining a Korean presence on the Island in order to prevent Japan from claiming it.	Ulluengdo Sea Views The Views along the sea side walk of Ulluengdo were absolutely fabulous. With the volcanic rock providing a solid base for the walk way and the green vegetation overlapping towards the sea to meet the clear turquoise blue sea, you can imagine the quality of the scenery.
